About

I am a graduate student at Wayne State University, where I am a GTA with the policy debate team. My research interests are at the intersection of politics, public culture, and citizenship. In particular, I am interested in how cultural institutions, such as presidential libraries, function to articulate notions of national identity and citizenship. Further, I research how forms of popular culture, especially cinema and sports, intersect with politics to create perceptions about political leaders and institutions.
